This was way before the idea that I needed to put a beak mask on Bug so Bird would not want to eat him for dinner.
Bird and Bug are in the tree nest. Bird is on a smartpad. The bug is suggesting the idea of Bird becoming a stay-at-home internet travel writer. This one still makes me laugh. Birds travel thousands of miles every year – and the idea of one that stays home all year and writes about travel without travel.
Yes, yes, yes, I know Northern Cardinals do not migrate and are considered non-migratory, year-round residents throughout their range. They do not fly south for the winter, instead opting to stay in the same general area—often within a mile of where they were hatched—to withstand cold temperatures.
