STEEL BOX

poem by> MVANNP

Store up those feelings
Bolt’em inside a steel box
Drop them to the bottom
of the deepest anything
to show them you’re a steady rock

Hide them, bury them, keep them inside
Keep your chest pushed out showing your pride

Never show any tears
you have to save face
You don’t want anything
they can use as your disgrace

Push those feelings deep down inside
Don’t let them out and get away
Someone might see them
and laugh at you for a full day
